2019 Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase
Cole Peverall is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Alexandria, VA who attends Gonzaga College. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.31 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, length to arm stroke through the back, stays inline, arches back in load over the rubber, three quarters slot with very good extension, fastball worked 80-85 mph with excellent life up in the zone, very good slider with sharp bite with same tunnel as fastball, mixed in a changeup as well with some good action, attacked hitters and dominated. Hits from wide spread stance with low back elbow, deep bar into hand load, has good bat speed, gets into lower half and brings hips, whip to barrel with strength at contact, good projection with the bat. Worked out in the outfield, deliberate footwork with good fundamentals, fields clean, clocked up to 81 mph on throws. Very good student, named to 2019 Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
