Christopher Gordon is a 2022 1B/2B, OF with a 5-11 210 lb. frame from Avon Park, FL who attends Frostproof. At first base he has physical looks and starts with two hands out in front and stays back on the ball. He squares up well to the ball and the feet transitions to the throw well. His throws were accurate and shows short arm action for quick plays to second base. In the box he starts slightly open and really shows a heavy barrel head. He turns the barrel over well to the pull side with some strength. More consistency with the middle of the barrel will be beneficial as the ball jumps when he gets it.
