Matt Hershey is a 2020 2B/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Walnut Creek, CA who attends Las Lomas. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, lift and replace leg lift raise, limited lower half shift into contact, big hand gather, rotational pull side approach, pretty short and direct hand path to the ball, just strong enough to get some jump on the ball when he squares it up. 7.36 runner, plays below and behind the ball well in the infield, has a quick release and some carry on his throws from a second baseman, also plays the outfield. Good student.
