Cameron Sumner is a 2021 1B/OF with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Tifton, GA who attends Tift County. Recorded a 7.22 second 60 yard dash. Tall, high-waisted frame with room for added strength. Primary first baseman with a long arm action and gather, throws it 76 mph across the diamond. Showed the ability to throw from multiple slots. Was at his best when he slowed down and simplified the process to let his athleticism show. Secondary outfielder with a passive approach, full arm action and big gather. Right-handed hitter with an exaggerated spread stance. Lift and replace load with a grooved swing path. Shows stiff actions in the box, bat speed will improve as he loosens up the swing and stands taller in the box. Excellent student.
