Jonah Rouwenhorst is a 2023 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from La Mirada, CA who attends La Mirada. Tall with long and wiry levers, high waist. Ran a 7.47 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, that stays balanced through his approach and funnels well before release. Good internal clock and accurate across the field. Can change arm angles with accuracy as well. A right handed hitter, even stance with a high hand set. Compact and direct path with quick wrists. Good position at contact and the ball comes off solid. Lots of upside as the body fills out. A secondary pitcher, athletic delivery with a short stroke on the back and some whip at release. High 3/4 slot and some jump when his process is on time. Short slider with tilt, late dart and the offering should develop into a go-to pitch. Very good two way potential. Good student.
