2006 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Logan Oaks is a 2007 RHP/3B from Apex HS, in Apex, NC with a 5'11", 190 lb. frame. Logan was a local player that had a thick build. On the mound Logan had a 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm circle. Logan has good run on his fastball and made hitters put the ball in play. For his off-speed pitches Logan showed a solid straight change-up and a curveball that had a little bit of rolling action. At the plate Logan showed some hand strength in his swing, but is more of a contact hitter at this point. Logan looks to be a solid recruit for some smaller colleges across the country.
