Jack Ruckert is a 2025 SS/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Baton Rouge, LA who attends Catholic High School. Recorded a 6.70 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with athleticism and lots of room for physical projection. Primary shortstop with smooth actions and a clean exchange. Clean to the back hand with good range to both sides. Arm strength is solid across and up to 90 mph with throws up to 94 mph from the outfield as well. Left-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Smooth barrel plane and stays in the hitting zone a long time. Easy bat speed and stays connected nicely. Good feel to hit and power will continue to develop. Great student. Verbal commitment to LSU.
