Jett Carroll is a 2023 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Lubbock, TX who attends Coronado. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.96 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, athleticism plays in actions, clean out front with hands and repeats glove skill well, sound funnel and gains ground working through the ball, softness throughout actions, accurate throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with a tall set and a narrow base; swings under control and remains athletic in process, compact stroke and direct to the ball with the hands. Accurate barrel with sound barrel skills, contact oriented approach and projects with added strength, shows flashes of leverage out front. Excellent student.
