Carter Rogas is a 2022 OF/LHP with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Longview, TX who attends Hallsville. Compact frame with a thick build and present strength. Broad shoulders with a wide chest. Ran a 6.91 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Aggressive approach with athletic strides. Fields to the side and into a large gather maintaining direction towards the bag. Stays accurate to the bag with present arm strength in throws topping out at 80 MPH. Switch hitter with a narrow and even stance from both sides. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Rotational actions into contact with an uphill bat path. Works mostly to the middle of the field with contact. Secondary lefthanded hitter working exclusively from the stretch and a leg lift above the belt. Lands in line down the mound with drop and drive actions to the plate. Loose action in the back into an extended three-quarter slot. Creates angle on the fastball from slot with slight running life at 79 MPH. Mixes in a changeup as well with sinking actions through the zone. Very good student as well.
