Tanner Owens is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-10 183 lb. frame from Milton, FL who attends Gulf Breeze. Medium athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.07 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well to both sides and has athletic actions through the ball, makes accurate throws with some carry, pretty polished overall actions defensively. Right handed hitter, starts from an open and spread stance, line drive swing plane, has good rhythm to his hands and was on time and had the ability to turn the barrel over, solid pull to mid field contact, has more bat speed to come. Also pitched, has a fast paced delivery with a high leg raise start, quick and compact 3/4's arm action. Fastball topped out at 87 mph with some life and the ability to throw it for strikes. Showed a short frisbee slider as his breaking ball. Excellent student. Named to the PG World Showcase Top Prospect List.
