He ran a 7.72 60-yard dash. A primary middle infielder, he shows quick and energetic actions to field balls in either direction. He is especially sound going to his glove side. He transitions well and his 71-mph velocity allows his throws to consistently carry across the diamond. On the mound, JayShaun displays an easy and fluid delivery and uses a high 3/4 arm slot. He fills up the zone, pitching off a 68-72 mph fastball that is well commanded. His 58-mph curveball is a developing pitch that shows signs of becoming a tight spinner as his mechanics continue to improve and he gains strength.
