Chris Walsh is a 2022 RHP/SS with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Burlingame, CA who attends St. Ignatius College Prep. Big well proportioned build with plenty of strength potential. Has very simple and repeatable mechanics on the mound, has better feel for his pitches from the windup than the stretch, arm works well. Upper 70's fastball, gets nice arm side run and sinking action at times, threw lots of ground balls due to his fastball life. Has confidence in his change up and has some fading action on the pitch, sweeping curveball has some depth, has the pitches to mix more. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a minimal weight transfer, loads his hands tight, has the strength to lift the ball when he gets the barrel out front. First base tools on defense.
