Tyler Kalmus is a 2023 C/1B/OF with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Richmond, TX who attends Foster. Medium frame with lean, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.41 seconds. Hits from upright stance with high hand set, rocks to gather timing, short stroke with steeper entry and higher finish, swings hard, shows impact pull side. Primary catcher, high set, rising into reception, more stationary feet into throws, long arm stroke, clocked up to 65 mph on throws. Also saw reps in the outfield and the infield, shows footwork with some lateral agility at play, clocked up to 71 mph from each spot on throws. Excellent student.
