Dylan Blazer is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Virginia Beach, VA who attends Frank W. Cox. Strong athletic build, especially in his lower half. Uses his lower half well in driving his delivery, high 3/4's arm slot creates good angle to the plate, has some deception in his mechanics and is athletic in repeating his delivery. Worked in the low 80's consistently with his fastball, topped out at 83 mph, works down in the zone well and creates plenty of arm side running life. Curveball was a solid second pitch for him, landed it well with 11/5 shape and some depth and bite, used his curveball for his out pitch frequently and successfully. 7.95 runner in the sixty, plays first base on defense. Left handed hitter, busy lower half load with a back tap start, top hand dominant swing, swings with intent. Good student.
