2023 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Konnor Hooper is a 2026 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends River Ridge. Features a physically built frame with noticeable strength. Ran a 7.29 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed avg. fundamental actions. Walking approach to start and into reception where he fields it clean and out front. Post reception he uses a glove tap and take some extra steps where he works with some better quickness which gives him momentum into throws. Used a longer/full arm action that got off throws with above avg. strength and 50/50 accuracy. At the plate, he uses a simple/smaller forward move. His hands stay inside the baseball well while working with noticeable quickness. Dips his head a bit as he starts his swing. It's a shorter stroke that works direct with a one-hand higher finish. There's present bat speed but he didn't show his best power stroke during his round. Some inconsistent timing but had a couple quality LDs to the middle of the field.
