Lawson Perry is a 2025 C/1B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL who attends Episcopal. Ran a 7.80 second 60 yard dash. A primary catcher with a large physical frame with present strength in the lower half. Behind the plate, he showed a short arm action with a high release getting on top of the ball, his throws showed some carry with accuracy recording a 2.19 second pop time. In the infield he showed good footwork with some carry on the throws. At the plate, his righthanded swing showed a direct bat path working short to the ball with good use of the lower half, his hands could work a little more fluid through the zone allowing him to create more bat speed through contact, overall the swing is polished and showed well in the games with a double in the gap.
