Chance Jackson is a 2023 1B/IF/OF with a 6-0 194 lb. frame from Raymond, MS who attends Terry. Large frame with some strength to the build. Ran a 7.52 second 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, clean actions with some length getting to the ball, receives it well out front, turns into throws well and releases quick from a shorter arm action. Also pitched, full windup with a good line to the plate, fastball plays true to velocity up to 77 mph and is developing feel for the breaking ball with bigger bite to it. Righthanded hitter, narrow set up and strides in well; swings hard and get the barrel out with authority, can get cutoff out front at times but produces great jump and carry off the barrel when squared with good back spin to the pull side. Named to 2021 Summer Gulf Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
