Jose Mavare is a 2023 LHP with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Kissimmee, FL who attends Osceola. A primary left-handed pitcher with a smaller build. Throws from the third base side of the rubber with a leg lift above the belt staying tall on the back leg at the top of the balance point before driving down the mound with a good line to the plate. The arm works on a full track through the arm swing to a high three-quarters arm slot. The fastball gets some arm side run in the mid 70's topping out at 78 mph and gettin to both halves of the plate while keeping the ball down in the zone. The breaking ball shows two plane shape in the mid 60's. Does a nice job repeating the delivery with both pitches showing little effort and an ability to throw strikes with either pitch. Good student.
