Chris Morrison is a 2006 outfielder/pitcher from Middlesex, NJ, with a solid 6'0", 175 pound body. Offensively, he hits from an open stance, starts with his hands low, and is slightly rotational. He showed good pull side power with consistent line drive contact and a top hand release. In the outfield, he showed a strong arm at 77 mph, and an aggressive approach to the ball. On the mound, he throws from a ¾ arm slot, and stays tall on his delivery. Morgan's fastball was 78 mph with slight tail. He also hides the ball well, and maintains good arm speed on a 68 mph sinking change up with nice movement. Chris is a good student.
