Ben Weller is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall and slender build. Slow and controlled delivery, throws slightly across the body. Works exclusively from the stretch with developing control and command from a three-quarters slot. Short arm action, with medium flex and arm speed. Fastball sits 70-to-73 miles per hour. Shows some feel for curveball at 64 miles per hour with 12-to-6 shape. Secondary outfielder, with a clean approach to the ball. Throws from a three-quarters slot with developing arm strength and accuracy. Upright and even stance at the plate with a simple leg lift trigger and some linear shift into contact. Loose hand path to the ball with a line drive barrel plane. Middle of the field to pull side approach. Flashes the ability to throw the barrel head. Good student.
