Anthonie Rodriguez is a 2021 RHP/IF with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Marietta. Tall, lean, lanky build. Ran a 7.48 second sixty-yard dash. Utilizes a small side step to belt high leg kick. Stays slightly flexed at gather going to drop and drive actions to the plate while landing in line. Showed good arm speed from an three-quarter arm slot. Showed the ability to mix both pitches for a strike in any count. Flashed a fastball with a good downhill plane topping out at 81 miles per hour complemented by a tight eleven-five curveball at 60 miles per hour. Showed a quick pick-off move as well. Showed deliberate actions in the infield to go along with confident glove actions. Showed good arm strength with developing accuracy topping out at 78 miles per hour across the infield. Right handed hitter. Utilizes an slightly closed upright stance with a high hand and back elbow set up. Employs an up the middle line drive approach with a dowhill bat path. Showed developing barrel control with solid contact multiple times throughout batting practice. Great student.
