Brayden Leonard is a 2024 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Brookhaven, GA who attends Fulton Science Academy. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength to frame with additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.10 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, takes long strides moving towards the ball and rounds it well, clean gather with softness to hands, shows carry and accuracy across the diamond on throws with a quick exchange, performed well in live action at both second and third base as well. Compact arm in the outfield and works through the ball well, fields it to his side, sound footwork and shows accuracy on throws, repeats actions. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with a slightly open stance in the box. Does a nice job of staying short to the ball and creates lift in swing path, easy stroke and repeats it well. Creates contact out front, shows jump off the barrel to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Excellent student. Named to the 14u Main Event Top Prospect List.
