Jofer Medina is a 2021 RHP with a 6-0 158 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter School. Lanky and lean frame ripe for physical projection. Primary righthanded pitcher who only threw during the event. Simple side step into a high leg lift delivery. Stays tall on the backside at gather and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Lands online toward the plate and carries momentum through finish. Deep arm circle and releases from a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball topped out at 77 mph and creates some downhill plane. Breaking ball had 11/5 shape with some spin and good depth when maintaining arm speed. Consistently worked to the outer edge of the plate with the fastball. Creates a lot of soft contact and filled up the strike zone. Good student.
