Owen Eisen is a 2023 RHP/C, 1B, 3B with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Ocean View. He has a medium-athletic frame and has plenty of room for growth. On the mound, he has a short arm with a short side step into a fairly high leg lift. Arm is free and easy with a high three-quarter slot as he fills up the zone with a good amount of strikes. Fastball has some sink to it, good ability to generate ground balls. In the infield, he keeps his shoulders square to the ball, shows good feet, and has a solid transfer from the glove. Throws across the diamond are accurate. Behind the plate, shows a quick transfer on his throws down to second base with a 2.53 pop time. At the plate, he has a closed front foot, slightly open stance, and a leg lift trigger. Stays inside the baseball, and is a great student in the classroom.
