Isaiah Padilla is a 2020 OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Montgomery. Medium frame with an athletic build. Square shoulders with some present strength in the upper half. Ran a 6.89 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Sits back some with a more deliberate close to the ball. Looks to come through the ball while fielding to the side. Longer arm action in the back into a long release from an over the top arm slot. Developing carry out of the hand on throws at 75 MPH. Righthanded hitter with an even stance and short leg lift trigger for timing. Short drifts into contact with a flat path through the zone. Long path through the zone working ground ball contact to the middle of the field. Good student as well.
