Jonathan Largaespada is a 2020 RHP with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Compton, CA who attends Paramount High School. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean and projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Righthanded pitcher, begins delivery with a step back and full hand path over head in unison, medium leg lift with a longer arm stroke working to a true three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, hard running life with occasional sink, nice plane to the pitch when on top of the ball. Does a nice job of turning over his changeup up to 79 mph, hard running life to it, mimics his release and action with the pitch. Slider shows potential up to 74 mph, short biting life when finishing the pitch. Feel for three pitches and fills the zone. Plenty of physical projection remaining.
