Jacob Kendro is a 2022 SS/2B, OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from North Huntingdon, PA who attends Norwin HS. Jacob has a slender, projectable build and shows easy athleticism that should continue to improve as he matures through his last two years of HS ball. In addition to his noticeable ability on the diamond, Jacob is also a solid student. He ran a commendable 7.07 60 yard dash. A primary MIF, Jacob shows easy and coordinated actions to position and play through the fielding action. His glove is smooth and consistent and his transition is quick and routine. His 89 mph velocity on his throws is highly impressive and his tosses show firm, true carry. Solid round. Offensively, Jacob bases his swing from a slightly open stance. He incorporates a hovering leg lift to trigger. He shows sound rotational strength and made consistently solid contact. Has feel for the barrel that he gets to and through the zone with some force. His ability at the plate is solid now and will only get better with improved strength. Jacob has the tools and frame to grow into a solid prospect. Nice upside ability.
