Wyatt Fordham is a 2023 3B/RHP, IF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Plant City, FL who attends Plant City. Medium frame with beginnings of strength. Primary third baseman with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while working to and through the baseball. Funnels from a slightly deeper position and worked through exchange with developing fluidity. Released from a three-quarters slot creating solid carry to the bag at 82 mph. Right handed hitter with an even, upright stance and hanging leg lift trigger. Worked to contact with linear lower half actions. Showed good hand speed through the zone with a linear barrel plane through extension. Worked to each out field gap displaying good balance throughout. Also pitch utilizing a smooth, easy delivery. Clean arm action at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball created some downhill tilt to the bottom of the zone, topped at 81 mph. Curveball had 11/5 shape with tight spin and later depth in the low 60's. Also flashed a changeup offering in the low 60's. Looked to challenge hitter and induce weak contact. Excellent student as well.
