Zach Danielczyk is a 2023 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Oakton, VA who attends Oakton. Nice young pitcher's build, long and lean with some present strength and plenty of physical development ahead. Full windup leading to a 3/4's arm slot, works down the mound well with lower half energy to drive his delivery, arm is fast and loose coming through. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, plenty more there in the future, very good downhill action to his fastball with heavy life down in the zone, worked both sides of the plate with his fastball and showed solid overall command. Downer curveball flashed good depth and spin but wasn't as consistent on this pitch as he was on his fastball. 7.76 runner in the sixty. Played both first base and the outfield and showed nice athleticism at both positions to go with the expected strong arm. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand start, gets into his back side well, middle of the field line drive swing approach. Good student. Named to the Coastal Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
