Ethan Grossjung is a 2021 OF/IF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Elkhorn, NE who attends V.J. And Angela Skutt Catholic. Medium frame with an athletic build and square shoulders. Ran a 7.13 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Aggressive and athletic close to the baseball. Fields to the side with a funnel up. Longer transfers with an uphill release and developing arm strength topping out at 70 miles per hour. Also worked out from first base. Aggressive to the ball and working through towards the bases. Turns well to the bases with strong balance throughout transfers. Makes accurate throws to the bag topping out at 70 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance and leg lift trigger to start. Shows feel for the barrel through a direct line drive bat path. Best contact comes when working to the pull side looking to get the ball in the air. Very good student as well.
