Kyle Kruse is a 2020 RHP/SS with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Skowhegan, ME who attends Skowhegan Area. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.91 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, coils back over rubber in windup, throws from sidearm slot, fastball worked 74-78 mph and peaked at 79 mph with very good arm side life, mixed in slider with good tunnel and sweepy shape, very effective when in the zone, tough look for righthanded hitters. Hits from closed stance, drops hands into bar, inside-out path without much lower half usage, whole-field approach with line drive plane. Worked out in the infield, sits back on the ball, profiles well at 3B, shows range up the middle, gets around the ball, clocked up to 78 mph across the diamond. Good student.
