Mason Moffett is a 2022 C/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 142 lb. frame from Cary, NC who attends Cary. Medium frame with a wiry, athletic build. Ran a 7.62 second sixty yard dash. Primary catcher, sits back in legs well with an athletic stance, soft hands receiving, gains ground on the throw down, accurate arm with young mechanics and solid tools in place. Secondary righthanded pitcher, medium leg lift before dropping and driving, flashed a fast arm, online with repeatable delivery, high 3/4 arm slot, good tempo, fastball showing some sink 72-76 with a tight spinning 11-5 curveball at 67. Righthanded hitter, even stance while slightly closed off before working into a deep hands load, middle of the field approach, loose hands with a smooth swing. Outstanding student.
