Johnathon Hotta is a 2008 SS with a 5'7'', 150 lb. frame from Oceanside CA, who attends Oceanside. Hotta has a shorter body with a thin lean build. Defensively, Hotta moves to the ball well and has good defensive actions. He has arm strength with some carry on his throws. Hotta showed good body control in the workout. At the plate, Hotta has a balanced approach and stays balanced through his swing. He has a line drive approach and looks to hit the ball to the middle of the field. Hotta has the ability to hit to all fields and centers the ball well. He has quick hands with bat speed. Hotta has present line drive pop with more power potential in there.
