Tabius McCoy is a 2020 C/MIF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends KIPP Atlanta Collegiate. Medium frame with a sturdy build showing some room to fill out down the road. Ran a 7.88 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting athletically in his stance as he shows good hands as well. Quick transfers on throw downs before showing an uphill release. Accurate throws around the bag. Recorded a 2.12 second pop time during drills. Secondary Middle Infielder, sitting back on the baseball before he comes and gets it. Clean gather out front before he works into transfers. Shorter arm action as he threw it 79 mph across the diamond. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from a narrow, upright stance with active hands. Low leg lift to stride before throwing hands through the zone. Linear swing path as he looks to drive the baseball back up the middle. Hands do a good job of staying inside the baseball.
