Ethan Masson is a 2022 2B/RHP, SS, MIF, OF with a 5-7 136 lb. frame from Southern Pines, NC who attends Pinecrest. Small and young frame with room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.19 second 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman, worked out in the infield with young actions, footwork is still developing to and through the baseball, compact arm action taken into throws, topped out at 67 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, deliberate delivery with a compact arm action, releases from an over the top arm slot, fastball topped out at 73 mph, flashed a developing curveball, attacked the strike zone for soft contact during his outing. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a slightly open stance, turns the barrel when meeting the ball out in front, will improve pop off of the barrel with additional strength, middle of the field line drive approach. Outstanding student.
