Christopher Wisdom is a 2008 RHP/1B with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame from Crosby, TX who attends Channelview. Chris has a medium frame, and a lean athletic build. He has room to add to his frame. At the plate he has a balanced swing with bat speed, and he stays on the ball well. He has theh ability to go gap to gap and showed pop. He has nice relaxed hands and doesn't try to do too much. His load is also quiet, and he does a great job staying back. On the mound, he inconsistent with his release point at times, but still gets results. He has a short arm in back and has good balance. He competes on the mound and does a good job commanding his fastball. The fastball topped at 81 mph. He showed a curveball that breaks 12-6 with some depth and sharpness when he stays on top of it. Chris is a projectable player with tools. He is also a good student.
