Austyn Thomas is a 2020 OF/3B, C with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Jackson, MS who attends Jim Hill. Medium and sturdy frame with some strength present. Ran an 8.00 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, comes through the baseball with momentum carried to his target, compact arm action and release, creates uphill carry into throws with developing arm strength currently, topped out at 68 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a wide based stance and high hand set, upper half dominant swing, creates a flat path through the hitting zone with a downhill swing plane moving into contact, flashed some barrel skills when on time to the baseball, all fields approach.
