Christopher Cabrera -- Cabrera is a very slim junior second baseman from Florida. Throw out the 60 time because Cabrera has excellent first step quickness and we had him as low as 4.19 to first base from the right side. His quickness means that Cabrera gets to a lot of balls on defense and he has very nice balance and actions, too. Cabrera can definitely play defense at the next level. It’s hard, though, to swing a bat effectively at 135 lbs against good pitching. Cabrera does a good job of trying to keep his swing short and compact but he’s going to have to get stronger to be more than a slash and run hitter at the highest levels. Christopher is a good student.
