Parker Griffey is a 2020 2B/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Knoxville Catholic. Medium and young frame with room to continue to fill out physically. Ran a 7.52 second 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman who took reps in the infield fielding the baseball out in front, developing footwork working through the baseball and arm strength, long arm action into release. Secondary righthanded pitcher, starts windup with a side step up to a high leg lift, long arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, uses the lower half well getting some drive and coil at the balance point, developing arm speed, fastball is straight up to 69 mph, filled up the zone well with the heater and mixed in a 12-to-6 curveball with feel as well. Lefthanded hitter, sets up with a slightly open stance and a high hand set, bars hands at load, effort to swing with the ability to turn the barrel over on pitches over the inner half of the plate, could improve with consistency in swing path, hips fire getting solid use in his lower half, showcased the ability to work to all parts of the field during his round of batting practice.
