Brooks Bak is a 2021 RHP/2B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Plant. Square shouldered build with long arms for his height, has some present strength with more to come. Side step delivery with some backward lean at his balance point, drifting delivery out front with a compact 3/4's arm stroke, can get his backside through more effectively. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 82 mph, fills up the zone with his fastball while getting occasional cutting action. Threw two types of breaking balls and a developing change up but primarily relied on his fastball. Strike thrower who challenged hitters and got plenty of swings. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance with a deep hand start, looks to pull the ball and has some strength at contact, flashes raw power on his pitch. 7.08 runner, third base tools on defense. Elite level student.
