Braden Gill is a 2020 MIF/3B, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Bulverde, TX who attends Churchill. Medium, athletic frame with room to add strength throughout. Recorded a 6.98 second 60-yard dash. Primary middle-infielder, worked out in the infield with strong and athletic movements to both sides, solid glove skills, transfers well, showed ability to throw from different slots and on the move, good carry across, comes out of the hand easy. Also pitched at the event, easy effort delivery, stays direct to the plate and attacks the zone up to 80 mph, uses a tight slider and and 12-6 shaped curveball to complement the fastball. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base, high hands and high back elbow. Does a nice job of staying short and direct to the ball and pulls his hands inside well. Create nice rotation throughout and generates good bat speed with slight lift to the pull side. Good student. Named to 2019 Uncommitted Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
