Evan Jaramillo is a 2021 2B/SS with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Perry. Compact frame with an athletic build. Ran a 7.24 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary second baseman. Gets around the ball some and fields with a deeper funnel in. Shows some range in either direction. Works from a three-quarter arm slot and into throws topping out at 69 MPH. Righthanded hitter with a slightly crouched and even stance. Utilizes a big lift and replace leg lift trigger. Rotational lower half actions works from a taller front side at contact. Loose hand path into a line drive barrel plane. Developing feel for the barrel through the zone. Excellent student as well.
