Ronan Donohue is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Melrose, MA who attends Melrose. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.46 seconds. Hits from spread stance with high hands and low back elbow, short to the ball with quick bat and solid strength, projects well for power, consistent barrel skills with some loud contact. Worked out in the infield, hands work well out front, clean and easy with solid footwork, moves well, clocked up to 81 mph on throws. Also pitched, works from stretch, hooked stroke through the back to high three quarters slot, fastball worked 70-73 mph with pinpoint control, landed curveball with 11/5 shape for strikes as well. Excellent student.
