Michael Porter Jr is a 2021 OF/ with a 5-7 180 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Wheeler. Smaller frame with an athletic build. Ran a 7.02 second sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder, young mechanics in the outfield, quick feet with a good first step, slows down while fielding the baseball, used strong lower half to drive through throw. Righthanded hitter, started with a even base, quiet hands while throwing hands at the baseball, linear swing plane with repeatable mechanics, gets weight out front, uses a gap to gap approach, flashed patience at the plate, showed good speed on the base paths as well. Outstanding student.
