Aidan Elliott is a 2019 OF/RHP, MIF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Reno, NV who attends Galena. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary outfielder with aggressively footwork while closing to the baseball. Funnels off to side and worked through exchange quickly. Maintains momentum to the bag while releasing from a three-quarters slot. Throws produced on line carry to the bag topping at 82 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing clean footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels from a slightly deeper position and worked through exchange with high energy actions. Flashed good range to each side and released from a three-quarters slot topping at 80 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Simple, repeatable hand path to baseball with a level, line drive barrel plane through extension. Consistently produced sharp, line drive contact to the middle of the field between to the gaps. Also pitched working exclusively from the stretch. Medium leg lift and created coil over back leg at gather. Worked to the plate with drop and drive lower half actions. Clean arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball produced some DH plane with run back to arm side in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 81 miles per hour. Curveball showed 11/5 shape with good spin and quality depth in the mid 60's. Displayed good feel for fastball offering and consistently attacked each edge of the plate. Excellent student as well.
