Mike Moynihan is a 2020 2B/SS with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from East Longmeadow, MA who attends East Longmeadow. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.26 seconds. Hits from staggered stance with high hand set, hands drop and cock back into barred load, long stride in lower half, will drift onto front side, shows good balance and present bat speed, works through zone on linear plane. Primary infielder, footwork is solid to and through the ball, bends well at knees, fields cleanly and gets off quick release, clocked up to 77 mph. Also took outfield reps, stays behind the ball, breaks down well to field, clocked up to 77 mph. Very good student.
