Miguel Vega is a 2020 2B/SS with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Florida, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Recorded a 6.88 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame with good athleticism and room for strength. Primar shortstop with a higher arm slot and shorter arm stroke. Moves well to either side and has good range and feel for the position. Arm strength recorded up to 76 mph across the diamond with good accuracy. Lefthanded hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Line drive and middle of the field approach with a flat barrel path. Consistent contact to the barrel with a spread open stance. Short shift forward into the ball with some bat speed through extension. Has good wrist strength and ability to impact the baseball nicely. Good student.
