Ivan Quinones is a 2020 3B/MIF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends West Broward. Compact frame with an athletic build and room to add moving forward. Ran a 6.87 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary third baseman. Athletic movements with some quick twitch actions. Clean glove work out in front with a quick funnel in. Clean transfers into accurate throws. Just needs to continue to develop the arm strength topping out at 77 MPH. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance to start and hands forward. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Longer path into contact working the middle of the field. Contact oriented approach able to manipulate the barrel well. Creates some jump for a more compact frame. Excellent student as well.
