Casey Scott is a 2024 C/3B/OF with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Charlotte Country Day. Medium, square shouldered build with long limbs and a lean, projectable build, has room to fill out moving forward. Ran a 7.89 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives the ball out front and works into a short and compact arm action with tight release, extra step through release but gains ground and does a nice job of staying on line towards the bag, shows accuracy with arm strength and carry that will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even and wide base with a high hand set and lower back elbow in the box. Subtle shift through lower half moving into contact, contact oriented approach and does a nice job of hitting the ball out front. Comfort hitting to the middle of the field, best when on a linear plane, occasionally gets uphill and opens front side early.
