Alexander Baaden is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Islip, NY who attends The Stony Brook. Baaden immediately showed off the speed tool to start his event, posting a 6.68 sixty yard dash time. The speed translated to the OF where he effectively covered ground with clean glove work and carry behind throws up to 82 mph. He has room to shorten up the actions with additional arm strength incoming as Baaden continues to fill out the frame. On the mound, he worked from the full windup starting from the middle of the rubber with a high 3/4 release point. He created some funk and deception in the delivery, making it hard for hitters to pick up out of the hand. The breaker displayed sharp 11-5 movement with lots of late bite upwards of 2472 rpm for swing and miss. CH with solid fade and spin kill also present in arsenal at 1389 rpm. Offensively, the righty started from a wider base with a hanging leg lift trigger and plenty of hand speed through the zone to produce line drive impact from gap to gap. He projects for more power in the future, posting an exit velo of 85 mph. Great student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
